Vacuuming your carpet regularly is important and can give your carpet many extra years. But unfortunately, dirt, dust, dandruff, and mildew do eventually seep down to the base padding of the carpet and remain there. No matter how clean you get the top of the carpet, there will always be a cesspool of dirt and germs residing at the very bottom, especially in high traffic areas. This is where deep cleaning comes in.

Deep cleaning is a 4 step process:

Step 1: Open the fibers.
The first thing that needs to be done is go over the carpet with a carpet rake while its still dry to open up all the fibers and clear paths to the base of the carpet for the following step.

Step 2: Pre-spay.
Here we spray our carpet detergent solution with our high power jet sprayer.

Step 3: Agitate.
Now we go back over the carpet with the rake, making sure the detergent makes it all the way to the bottom of the carpet and emulsifies and encapsulates all the soil from top to bottom.

Step 4: Extraction.
Lastly we slowly extract all the solution and encapsulated soil with our high power dual motor vacuum. The visual difference between a deep cleaned carpet and a non-deep cleaned carpet should be like night and day.

Remember, not all carpets need to be deep cleaned. this method is only recommended for highly soiled or high traffic areas. On most carpets, our basic method of steam cleaning will suit just fine.
